We are clued into what's going on through notes left lying around and optional TV broadcasts. It seems we are erasing and rewriting people's memories, which leads to destructive results. Told in the vaguest way possible, Silent Hill involves the player jumping into different people's minds. It's like Diablo with pyramid heads, double-headed dogs and the occasional sexy undead nurse. From there you are sent into a series of randomly created dungeons where you fight enemies, collect keys, pocket gold, solve puzzles and defeat bosses. You play a character of your own creation, either male or female.

Konami trades spooky survival horror for a more action oriented dungeon crawler. If want to give them 50 dollars for this game, go straight ahead, you have been warned.Book of Memories is not your typical Silent Hill game. The verdict: The game isn't horrible, but it doesn't even qualify as decent, it was a mediocre attempt at a game. Will there ever be another great Silent Hill game, or is this franchise dead. This isn't the Silent Hill I know, this shows what happens when little to no effort is put into a game, each stage must have taken them thirty minutes to put together. There is a level up system for your weapons and character, so now it's sort of like an RPG. The game play requires you to mash buttons with out any rime or reason. I haven't touched it in about a month, what a let down. I had played this game for little over an hour and knew it was going no where. But guess what the next stage is, the same thing, and so is the next stage. Okay I guess there's nothing wrong with that. The first stage has you searching through a giant platform above what appears to be lava. The Game: The game started out promising enough, I was interested in what was happening. It's a dungeon crawler, yeah thats right.

I only have two other Silent hill games and hoped this one would be great. I was excited about playing this game once I got my PSvita.
